Trish hurley

Wakefield, RI

Trish Hurley’s passion for the outdoors and curiosity in nature has always been her artistic inspiration.  She is best known for her landscape paintings, from 5”x5” plein-air sketches, done out in the elements with palette knife or her 5’x5’ bright, loosely representational larger paintings done with big brushes in the studio.

Trish received her BFA in Painting from the Swain School of Design and her MFA in Painting from UMass/Dartmouth.

She currently lives in Wakefield, RI and teaches as an Adjunct Professor of Art at CCRI and teaches a variety of workshops at Snow Farm in Williamsburg MA.   

Trish’s artwork can be seen at galleries throughout the United States, primarily in MA, NY, NJ, Washington DC and Chicago.
