Silver Circle's founder and owner, Carly has strived for over 8 years to make Silver Circle Art center a dynamic place for local and regional artists to convene, connect, share, and enrich the tightly-knit community of Connecticut's quiet corner. Carly's core beliefs have driven Silver Circle through many years of success and allowed the gallery to help form a wonderful circle of artists and community members in the Putnam, CT area.
Heather Mitchell - Educational Programs Manager
Heather Mitchell is a life-long New England resident and received her Bachelor of Arts from Anna Maria College concentrating in pre-law and legal studies in 2002. She possesses fifteen years of experience in the legal industry in matters focusing on injury, contract, and toxic tort law involving both complex litigation plaintiff and defense work. Heather decided to leave her legal career due to love of Putnam and wanted to be a part of its vibrant and growing downtown. Heather has been an avid supporter of the arts and of Silver Circle since 2011. Over the years she has taken many of the classes Silver Circle has to offer, so she has first hand experience with the inner workings of our educational programs. Melissa Wyse - Community Enrichment Programs Director
Our former gallery manager. Melissa has taken on many roles on the Silver Circle team. In her role as community enrichment programs manager Melissa works on our Friends of Silver Circle Board, as well as developing periodic special programs, events, and outreach initiatives designed to build our community, support our collector base, and foster connections with the arts at the gallery.
Audrey Mucci - Gallery Curator/Manager
It is with great pleasure that we welcome Audrey Mucci to the Silver Circle Gallery as our new Gallery Curator and Manager. Audrey has been involved with Silver Circle for many years as an exhibiting artist, board member of the Friends of Silver Circle Gallery Committee, and as a volunteer. She received an AS in General Studies and an AA in Fine Arts from Quinebaug Valley Community College, a BA in Visual Arts, with a concentration in Sculpture, from Eastern Connecticut State University and an MA in Learning and Thinking (Arts Cohort) from The Graduate Institute. She worked for six and a half years as the Gallery Director at The Spirol Gallery and Art Department Assistant at Quinebaug Valley Community College in Danielson, CT. Audrey lives in a small house in Moosup, Connecticut with her husband, Nick, and three elderly cats.
