INK BRUSH PAINTING

Ink brush painting is one of the oldest continuously practiced mediums in history. Immerse yourself in the beautiful and meditative art of Ink Brush Painting. Ink Brush painting itself is recognizable for its stylized, abstract, approach to the world of nature. This is because in brush painting, it is more important to capture the vital essence or spirit of a subject, rather than to simply replicate what it looks like. It lends itself well to those who like to work expressively. In this workshop, learn how to handle a bamboo brush to paint sweeping lines and delicate washes. It is a painting style quite unlike any other, with an evocative and exquisite beauty, inspired by nature.
